Types Of Osaka Bows:
At Osaka we want to cater for all different types of players. Learn more about each bow and get the right stick for you.
The Osaka Low Bow is an excellent all-round stick shape with phenomenal drag-flicking capabilities. The maximum bow point lies at 200mm from the cross with a max height of 24mm. Despite these aggressive figures the profile is kept modest while catering to the modern style of play. This makes the design focused on (deceptive) slap hitting, drag-flicking and 3D ball control.
Pro Groove Bow:
The Osaka Pro Groove Bow is an incredible dribbling shape with a drag-flicking groove to boot. The maximum bow point lies at 250mm from the cross with a max height of 24mm. This combined with the unique grooved face and slim-dynamic profile make for a modern playing experience like no other. The design is focused on 3D ball control and drag-flicking speed and accuracy.
The Osaka Proto bow is the ultimate specialist stick, shaped to maximize the potential of FIH specifications. The maximum bow point lies at 200mm from the cross with a max height of 24mm, like the low bow. Though it has been combined with a very aggressive, slimmed down profile to ensure incredible speed and control. It is designed for the drag-flicking elite looking for low bow characteristics and ultimate control.
The ALL NEW Osaka Mid Bow combines the sleek and technical profile of the Pro Bow with the more traditional bow shape of the previous Mid Bow. The maximum bow point lies at 300mm from the cross with a max height of 24mm. The chunkiness of the previous shape has been exchanged for a slimmer and all-around faster profile. This design focuses on the modern style of play while retaining the gently curving glory of old.
The Osaka Show Bow is our next innovation with regards to ground-breaking stick shapes, we have taken the profile of our fantastic Pro Bow shape and combined it with the late bow design of the legendary low bow. The maximum bow point lies at 200mm from the cross with a max height of 24mm. This makes for a cutting edge stick shape ideal for lightning fast dribbling skills without compromising on drag-flicking accuracy and power.
The Osaka Standard Bow is an excellent traditional all-round stick shape. The maximum bow point lies at 300mm from the cross with a max height of 17mm. The handle has been made thinner to allow for smaller hands and the profile is elegant and modestly curved. This makes the design focused on great ball control and slap-shooting for junior players.
The Osaka Pro Bow is simply put, the best dribbling shape in the world. The maximum bow point lies at 250mm from the cross with a max height of 24mm.
This makes for a next generation shape which we have given a slim and dynamic profile, ideal for modern technical play-styles. The design is focused on 3D ball control first, with flicking and shooting a close second.
